Jeff Webber

Founder, President

Jeff's history in comics, cartooning, and animation goes back quite a few years. At Andrews McMeel Universal, he led the team that created GoComics.com, working closely with classic comic-strips and creators such as Doonesbury by Gary Trudeau and Garfield by Jim Davis. GoComics was also an early phase mobile developer that brought the first comics to US mobile phones, with pre-iPhone comic reader apps and the very first iPhone comic book (fun trivia fact – the first iPhone comic was Jeff Smith’s Bone).

Partnering with Eaglemoss, a UK-based collectible business, Jeff introduced and managed a high-end book line featuring Star Trek, James Bond, Ghostbusters, and many more - all distributed through Penguin Random House Publisher Services.

At IDW Publishing, Jeff managed licensing, digital publishing, and foreign rights. His role was to lead IDW development with a broad range of technology companies, creators, brands and licensors.

Harold Sipe

Licensing Director

Harold Sipe has focused on mobile applications in the roles of Designer, Project Manager and QA Engineer. He has contributed to mobile applications from GoComics, Regal Entertainment, Saucony and Notarize.

In the game space, he has acted as the creative vision holder and project manager for games produced in partnership with such licensors as Paramount Pictures, National Geographic, Lifetime TV and others. He also produced the highest-grossing title ever for publisher Merscom (later acquired by Playdom, a division of Disney Interactive), which spent 12 weeks on North American and European game portal bestseller lists.

Small Monsters Games, his game design studio in partnership with his wife Meg Stivison, recently released the social card game Takeout. Takeout was featured in the Boston Festival of Indie Games' Tabletop Showcase, and is the first Small Monsters title to receive wide retail release.

Harold also writes comics and graphic novels. His first book, Screamland, received honorable mention in Publishers Weekly and was named Best Horror Series by Fangoria Magazine. He has written comic books for 12 Gauge Comics, Image Comics and IDW Publishing.

Harold lives in Boston, Massachusetts.
